cucumber banana pineapple smoothie

This refreshing Cucumber, Banana and Pineapple Smoothie with Coconut Milk and Lemon (or lime) sounds a little unconventional, but trust me it is SO delicious and guess what… it’s also one of the best detox smoothie! It’s great for your gut, skin, will give you energy, vitamin C and support your immune system. I like to make it in the morning as a quick breakfast or even as a midday snack. I find adding the ice cubes once everything is blended just makes it so much more refreshing, but give both ways a try and let me know in the comments which way you prefer. – 1/2 cucumber, peeled and chopped– 1 ripe banana– 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks– 1/2 cup coconut milk– Juice of 1 lemon or lime– Ice cubes (optional)– Honey or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)


1. In a blender, combine the chopped cucumber, banana, pineapple chunks, coconut milk, and lemon or lime juice.2. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little water or more coconut milk to reach your desired consistency.3. Taste the smoothie and add honey or agave syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.4. You can also add a few ice cubes to make the smoothie colder and more refreshing.5. Blend again until the ice cubes are crushed and the smoothie is well mixed.6. Pour the smoothie into glasses and garnish (optional) with a slice of cucumber or a wedge of lemon or lime.
