I have been posting about this company pretty often on my Instagram lately. Being an actress, I have spent years researching and testing out all the best beauty tips to make sure I can look my best on camera. Finding a way to whiten my teeth without the harsh, toxic chemicals or that doesn’t make my teeth and gums hurt has been quite the journey. I used to use another brand that did in fact whiten but the ingredients were awful and my skin still crawls thinking about how uncomfortable it was to have to sit there with that sensitivity and the taste for 30 minutes. It was awful!! They also have the trays you can use that require an activator gel and a huge mouth guard which is so not convenient. Enter Lumineux into my life!!! The reason I have been telling you guys about this brand so much is because it is the ONLY brand I have found that meets all my requirements and gets the job done. I was so excited to discover this brand during pregnancy too. I thought there was no way for me to be able to keep my teeth white during pregnancy because of all the nasty ingredients in other brands so this was a really exciting discovery.
I personally use the whitening strips, the pen, the toothbrush and mouthwash. All of these products are natural and have zero toxic ingredients. I have never found a whitening product without peroxide that works. Lumineux uses clean ingredients and essential oils (which we all know I am a huge fan of) to get the job done. I have seen such great results since using them. The whitening strips are really easy to use and I use these to get to my desired shade of white. The best tip I can give is to make sure you really dry your teeth and gums before applying so that they don’t slide off. I usually put these on a night when I know I won’t be eating or drinking for a bit ( I say for a bit because pregnancy lol) and can watch tv or check emails. You can use these anytime and literally do anything while they are on.
The brightening pen is so easy and convenient to use. I love to use this to protect my enamel from all the tea I have been drinking. If you drink tea, wine or coffee then you really need this one. I use this to maintain the shade of white I am at but to also protect my teeth from further stains. You certainly don’t need to use the strips and the pen, the pen will whiten really well on its own but I like to use both for maximum results. The best part about the pen is that I can throw it in my purse and use it on the go. I am not traveling right now but when I do, this is coming with me everywhere I go. It is so quick and easy to apply. If you know you are going to dinner and will be drinking wine, it is a great idea to apply the brightening pen to your teeth at least 30 min before, let it whiten, freshen and create protection before you drink that wine or coffee.
