Ok, let me start by saying that I have always been someone who works better under pressure. I am the worlds biggest procrastinator and leave everything to the last minute. I put it off and put it off and then am forced to hustle and get things done. Since becoming a mom, my time is so much more limited. Add in the fact that we have been in quarantine and have no outside help currently. My way of being was definitely causing me so much stress. I would let things like dishes, bottles and pump parts (bottles and pump parts I wash by hand) build up and save them for later only to be left standing at the sink for an hour at a time after Everleigh was asleep. I was having a huge problem with time management and realized I needed a change. Emails would pile up, work obligations, you name it.
I started applying this 60 second rule and it is a GAME CHANGER. If you aren’t someone who procrastinates (like my husband) you probably already do this. It’s simple, if a task will take you 60 seconds or less, do it RIGHT AWAY. Don’t wait. Reply to that text or email, rinse that dish, take out the trash, you get it. You will start to notice yourself getting so much more done in a day leading to you accomplishing the longer tasks quicker and more efficiently. It addicting. Try it and let me know if it works for you!
This does work just need to get in habit llol thank you
