MY POST FLIGHT BEAUTY ROUTINE! 2448 3264 Madison Charles

I don’t know about you guys but this cold dry weather is wreaking havoc on my skin! To begin with, flying is awful on the skin but when you add in this weather on top of it, it is no bueno. I had a very short flight to vegas last week and when I got off the plane, my lips and hands were cracked and my face felt tight (and not in the good way!) After spending 2 days in Vegas where it  is so dry, my skin didn’t stand a chance! Here is what I do whenever I get home from any kind of trip to restore moisture into my skin.

1. Manuka Honey

I have written about this before but the benefits of Manuka Honey are endless. Applied topically, It heals the skin, kills bacteria and locks in moisture. When ingested, it also kills bacteria, boosts your immune system and soothes sore throats. The first thing I do when I get out of the shower is slather it on all over my face as a mask and leave it on for at least an hour. Then just rinse it off with cool water and a wash cloth.

2. Egyptian Magic under my eyes

Ok, I will go into much further detail about this miracle all purpose cream in my next post but for now, I put Egyptian Magic under my eyes to hydrate the delicate under eye area.

3. Kaplan MD Lip Mask

I LOVE this mask!! It exfoliates, hydrates and plumps all in 3 minutes! You just apply it, wait 3 minutes and bam a perfect pout!

I love to drink a pot of Rooibos Tea because I am always cold and it is such a great immunity booster, but any way you can get your water in. Chug a liter of water or sip some tea but just get it in!
